2007 -
Received a $25,000 Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant for Celebrate a Winning Team: Principals and School Librarians, Ingredients for Increased Student Achievement! This grant supported a day of celebration honoring 23 Colorado principals for their support of their school librarians. November 8, 2007.
2007 -2007 Invited to attend the Library Research Seminar IV, Doctoral pre-conference at Western Ontario University in London, Ontario, October 9th through 12th, 2007. Conference theme: The Library in Its Socio-Cultural Context: Issues for Research and Practice.
2004 - Received a recognition award from Colorado State Library for serving as the last Chairperson of the Central Colorado Library System (CCLS), one of the seven Colorado regional library systems which were transformed in to the Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC).
2002 - Received the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Distinguished Services Award
2002 - Nominee for Education adjunct professor of the year at the University of Colorado at Denver.
